Geführte Wanderung "Vier-Berge-Tour Heimbach"
Jul 27, 2025
Heimbach
Look forward to a challenging hike around the picturesque town of Heimbach. It is nestled in an idyllic valley surrounded by four mountains full of character. Each of these mountains has its own story to tell - and we will take you on an unforgettable discovery tour. Our hike begins with the ascent of the Meuchelberg. Here we uncover the secret of its unusual name and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Heimbach reservoir and the Art Nouveau power station. We descend back down to the town via narrow paths, only to climb the next mountain straight away - the Bildchesberg. The locals affectionately call it "Luna". After this tour, you will know how the mountain got its nickname.
The trail continues through tranquil beech and oak forests, which have characterized the local landscape for centuries. We gradually approach the highest point of our hike - the Pflanzberg. Old pine trees line our path here and give this mountain an almost mystical tranquillity. Let yourself be accompanied by the song of the forest birds and feel how time seems to stand still here.
The crowning glory is the Sonnenberg. The steep ascent leads us through pine forests, which slowly turn into a sparse mixed forest. An impressive panoramic view of the Kermeter and over the rooftops of Heimbach awaits you here. The hike leads over varied terrain with some challenging climbs - making it ideal for active sports enthusiasts who like to be challenged.
